If you live in the US I’m sure you’re already planning your 4th of July party, if you haven’t started here are some tips on pulling together a top notch backyard gathering. It’s less than 2 weeks away so get crackin’!
I like to start from the beginning, and that’s invitations, maybe even before that start with your color palette but this one’s easy, trusty old red white and blue will do.
How cute are these invites, and they’re totally free from Babystar Design. Visit MyGrafico to download the free printable invitations. And send them off to your friends and neighbors!
Here is a super easy idea from Hostess with the Mostess, make these Hanging Garlands and hang them around your backyard or she even uses them for table runners. All you need is a 2″ hole punch, glitter paper, and ribbon or fishing wire.
Food decorations are the best part (in my opinion) of party planning, there are so many options and creative things you can do, especially with paper. Check out the wonderful food decorations from Lindsay’s USA Mega Party Kit to get you started on ideas.
I’m a dessert person, I leave the grilling and a lot of the cooking to my hubby! Here’s a delicious cake I found by The Pioneer Woman, I love this idea! It is a tasty cake with cream cheese icing and berries you can’t go wrong, see her recipe here with step by step photos.
Another tasty treat I couldn’t bare to leave out of this post is this Marshmallow treat by Amy at Living Locurto. It’s such a fantastic idea for the kids especially. All you need is marshmallows, almond bark, and red and blue sprinkles.
I think these are the cutest (and easiest) party favors, I found them on An Altered State of Mind. They are wrapped up life savers with ribbon tied around. Another good one for the kids.
This is one of my favorites, these Firecracker party favors are from Lindsay’s USA Mega Party Kit. Who knows what goodies lie within!
