Everyone knows how much kids love to read and look at books! How about handing out these Valentine Bookmark Freebies at your child’s classroom party. These were designed by myself, Sanqunetti Design
If you are pressed for time, and just want to print, cut and use, you can just use them just how they are. Each bookmark is 2″x7″ you can laminate them also for better durability and longer use.
I thought it would be fun to dress up the bookmarks a bit more and you just need a few supplies.
- scrapbook paper or cardstock
- hole punch
- ribbon
- scrapbook tape or other adhesive
- small corner punch
the fun part was laying out my scrapbook paper to find some nice matches to use for the backrounds of the bookmarks. Use your creativity to mix and match differnt color ribbons and papers. You can leave the edges straight but I really liked the rounded corners so I just used my small corner punch and it worked out great.
So if you are looking for a nice classroom Valentine’s Day party favor these work out great. It’s always nice to give them a little someting extra besides candy!
Another idea is you can always package them up and give them as a set to, for your child, it’s a great way to encourage reading and the love of books.
